About

I am honored to be able to help families in such an important and wonderful time in their lives. 

 A time filled with excitement and joy, as well as challenges.

 

As a doula, I provide support to the mother, baby and family during a  delicate transition. Through the use of evidence based information, newborn care practices, holistic healing techniques, and physical and emotional support. All of which help your family get the most out if this time. 

 

My twelve years of experience as a nanny were full of joy. I  loved working with children and families. I had the privilege of lending support to mothers making the transition back to work at the end of maternity leave. The essence of my role was ensuring peace of mind for families, knowing that their babies were in expert care.  

I then followed my passion of helping new families and became a doula. 

I am educated  as a postpartum and birth doula through CAPPA,(childbirth and postpartum professional association). 

I specialize in physical and emotional comfort, newborn care, nutrition, exercise and holistic healing techniques.  

I am also yoga instructor certified, and I can incorporate stretches, meditation and breathing techniques to aid in labor comfort, healing after labor, and transitioning into this beautiful new chapter of life.
